Bob Beckel on Fox News : Kill Julian Assange !
I always thought that Obama’s socialistic “moments” were just distractions. Extending the tax cuts for the rich is another sign for who is really in charge in the US of A. Now Bob Beckel has called for the murder of Julian assange. So far I have not heard any comments from Rupert Murdoch, the CEO and owner of News Corp. the holding company of Fox News Channel.

This document is from 2009, but imnsho nothing has happened in the Global Warming discussion that made it less important or obsolete:
How the IPCC‘s sponsor, the UNEP, and key IPCC individuals have misled Governments into supporting the notion of manmade warming

First some, of course absolutely irrelevant, anecdotal evidence and a plea:
As a teenager I spent the summer at the public natural swimming pool of my home town. Every year the pool was officially opened to the public at the 1st of April. Later when I was a student, the official season started 1st of June. 20 years later the municipality gave up. The summer usually occurred on an August weekend. Since I like it warm I moved to Bavaria in 1986. During my first winter South of Munich the huge lake at my house was completely frozen for the first time in 18 years. The summers became shorter every year. In July of 1997 I had to turn the heating on. After living 15 years in Bavaria I moved to South Africa since I like it warm. Today, after 8 years, I am sitting here in the middle of December in long pants and a sweater. Therefore, I appeal to all those climate experts out there: PLEASE SPARE ME your BS about GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!

Let us hope it will be “little”…
And this arrogant little fascist is consulting the Canadian PM Stephen Harper. It is unbelievable. Is publicly asking to murder someone not punishable in Canada ?
Apparently the academic elite is as rotten in Canada as in other countries. Maybe Flanagan has some friends in Bank of America and they pay him for this outrages statement. Or is it just the last attempt of a pathetic academic to get some attention ?
The history of the Weimar Republic teaches that real estate prices offered only limited protection against hyperinflation and only if one was living in his own home. Maintaining a house during periods of high inflation becomes very expensive due to constantly rising material cost. Of course a house usually survives a currency crisis whereas cash in a bank account does not.
In 1922 apartment rental prices were capped by the government and adjusted for inflation, rentals were only a fraction of what they had been before WWI. Consequently house prices were falling. However, rates and taxes on real estate sales were raised.
- Berlin raised the capital gains tax on real estate sales to 30%.
- In July 1924 home prices had dropped about 80% since 1918.
- From about 1935 to 1950 rental prices were “frozen”
- In 1952 “debt profiteers” had to pay a “mortgage gains tax”
RE offers wealth preservation in a currency crises, albeit one must be able to pay for maintenance and government levies and taxes. Moreover I assume that RE prices in a hyperinflation scenario are not increasing as much as gold and silver, if at all.

A molten salt reactor (MSR) is a type of nuclear fission reactor where the primary coolant is a molten salt mixture, which can run at high temperatures (for higher thermodynamic efficiency) while staying at low vapor pressure for reduced mechanical stress and increased safety, and is less reactive than molten sodium coolant. The nuclear fuel may be solid fuel rods, or dissolved in the coolant itself, which eliminates fuel fabrication, simplifies reactor structure, equalizes burnup, and allows online reprocessing. MSR is also known as a liquid fluoride thorium reactor (LFTR), and pronounced “lifter”. The improved neutron economy makes neutrons available so that the thorium-232 can breed into uranium-233. Thus, the compact core makes the molten salt design particularly suitable for the thorium fuel cycle.
A species of jellyfish known as Turritopsis nutricula can do something no other animal can pull off: It can regenerate its body. And it can do this over and over again, apparently sustaining its life indefinitely.
Some animals can regrow certain limbs and organs, but Turritopsi nutricula can regenerate its entire body over and over again. Researchers are studying the jellyfish to discover how it is able to reverse its aging process.
Because they are able to bypass death, the number of individuals is spiking. They’re now found in oceans around the globe rather than just in their native Caribbean waters. “We are looking at a worldwide silent invasion,” says Dr. Maria Miglietta of the Smithsonian Tropical Marine Institute.
This YouTube video is explaining the history of the Fed, how it is violating the US constitution and benefitting the big banks. Will be interesting to see how much longer this Empire will stand with 1.5 trillion $ deficits for years to come.
I am watching only the EuroUSD and the weekly chart suggests to me as this pull back might be finished soon ( ca. 1,26 ), then up to ca. 1,39 and there it could break through a DTL starting 2008. This would be also much more in line with the fundamental picture. The US economy is slowing fast imho.
Its not a flight to safety which drives the USD up again, it is renewed de-leveraging of some big European institutions ( DB, SG ?) , forced by a falling stock market.
I also dont see deflation anywhere, at least not in terms of declining living expenses.
